Uptown Youth Services

Empowering Young People, Building Future

Welcome to Uptown Youth Services

At Uptown Youth Services, we believe in the power of young people. We are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where young people can thrive. Our mission is to empower the young people in our community with the resources, skills, and opportunities they need to build a bright future.

Our Programs

In a youth club setting, we offer a range of programs designed to meet the unique needs and interests of our young people. Whether you’re looking to explore new hobbies, develop leadership skills, or find support through challenging times, Uptown Youth Services has something for everyone.

After-School Programs: Fun and educational activities to help you learn and grow outside the classroom.

  • Recreation and Sports: our Leyton Road Centre has indoor and outdoor facilities, a chill and chat room, a quiet space for reflection where members can enjoy a range of activities.
  • Arts and Creativity: Discover your creative side through music, arts and crafts and cooking.
  • Development: Workshops and resources to help you prepare for your future.
  • Mentorship: Connect with inspiring mentors who can guide you on your path to success.
  • Health and Safety:  Uptown offers a range of informational sessions to address issues that young people in our community are experiencing.

Holiday Program

Uptowns offers a holiday program with the support of Merton’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme.  These sessions are held during the school holiday and give children and young people the opportunity to enjoy physical exercise, arts and cultural activities, healthy food, trips out and other fun activities.

The sessions are free for children and young people between the age of 5 and 15 years old who are eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals. Additional places are also offered (free of charge) to older young people who are not eligible for free school meals.
