At Uptown Youth Services, we believe in the power of young people. We offer a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where you can thrive. Whether you’re into sports, arts, or just hanging out with friends, we’ve got something for everyone.

 

During term-time, Uptown runs three weekly 3-hour sessions at our Leyton Road location and one 2-hour session in South Mitcham.  

One to one mentoring is arranged on an ‘as needed’ basis. Please contact us for information on these.

Travel Information

The centre is a five-minute walk from Colliers Wood Tube station

There is a small car park at the centre, accessible through Holmes Road.

Two-hour free car parking is available at the nearby Sainsbury’s.

Bus routes:  57, 131 and 219 stop nearby.

Cycle parking is available.

HAF Programme

Uptowns offers a holiday program with the support of Merton’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme.  These sessions are held during the school holiday and give children and young people the opportunity to enjoy physical exercise, arts and cultural activities, healthy food, trips out and other fun activities. 

The sessions are free for children and young people between the age of 5 and 15 years old who are eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals. Additional places are also offered (free of charge) to older young people who are not eligible for free school meals.
